Chester Presbyterian Youth Connection

Our Vision

The Chester Presbyterian Youth Ministry is a vital part of our church family of faith. We are youth and adults called to be disciples of Jesus Christ who are dedicated to sharing the gospel with others and living out our faith in the world.

Our Mission

The mission of the Chester Presbyterian Youth Ministry is to reach the youth of our church and community, to help nurture and educate them in our faith in Jesus Christ, and to equip them to live a faithful life in the church and in the world.

Youth Ministry at Chester Presbyterian is not just something we do for our youth, its an opportunity for our youth to find their own path of ministry.

Service is an important part of the Chester Presbyterian Youth Ministry as it is our opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ and to put our faith into action. Projects range from A.C.T.S., baking cookies for congregational members, after-school tutoring, Habitat for Humanity, Crop Walk, serving CARITAS guests or shopping for Angel Tree recipients. Check the Youth Ministry calendar for upcoming mission/service opportunities

This is how we do it...

Our Youth Ministry program includes regular Sunday night fellowship meetings, Presbytery retreats, special events, youth conferences, and mission trips. We have two separate youth groups for Middle School and High School aged youth. We have a team of adult youth advisors for each group, and we have a youth council comprised of youth and adults to guide our activities.

Each week, we will take up an offering during worship for the charity of the month.

Youth Choir meets every Sunday from 4:30 PM.-5:30 PM.

Youth Fellowship (PYC) Groups meet every Sunday from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

Friends and visitors are always welcome for our regularly scheduled events. Please come and see what Christ has to offer you through this opportunity. Information is available on the Youth Ministry table up-stairs or check the bulletin board in the downstairs hallway..
